Scene Around Town: Dallas Museum of Art and Community Partners of Dallas

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s May 3 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from Art Ball benefiting the Dallas Museum of Art. Embarking on its 62nd year, Art Ball continued its legacy with an unforgettable black-tie affair themed ‘MOMENTUM’ at the esteemed Dallas Museum of Art.  The gala showcased the dynamic and forward-thinking vision of the DMA, while honoring the legacy and impact of our beloved Museum. Also highlighted, were images from Community Partners of Dallas who recently hosted its 18th annual Chick Lit Luncheon, presented by Dr. Robert and Lara Tafel.  More than 1,000 attendees attended the annual event, which featured a conversation with NBC5’s Laura Harris and actress Rita Wilson.
